How To Set Up Your Tipalti Account
CopyPress has partnered with the Tipalti payments platform to provide you with a convenient and secure way to receive payments from CopyPress anywhere in the world. Tipalti offers additional payment methods like ACH, wire transfer, eCheck, physical check, and PayPal. CopyPress will always cover the fee for an eCheck, which is a standard payment method with most of the world’s banks.
How To Set Up Your Tipalti Account
Follow these steps to complete your Tipalti registration:
1. Log in to Dante
2. Navigate to your "My Account" window
3. Click on the "Edit" button in the top right corner
4. Scroll to the section named "Payment Information"
5. Select "Tipalti" as your preferred payment method
6. Click the "Create Tipalti Account" button
A pop-up will appear. The information you are required to provide will vary based on the payment method you select. Be prepared to provide the following general information:
- Name
- Address
- Phone
Tax Identity
The form will guide you toward selecting the right tax forms (W-9, W-8, VAT, etc.) and walk you through the information-gathering process.
Complete the process
Once you complete your tax information, you are finished setting up your account.

Do I have to get paid through Tipalti?
Yes. All CopyPress Contractors must sign up for Tipalti to receive payment for their work.
What payment methods are available on Tipalti?
Payment methods differ by country, but the most common methods are:
- PayPal.
- eCheck.

You will be able to see which options are available to you when you sign up.
Which tax form do I use?
CopyPress cannot offer tax advice to contractors. If you have questions about taxes and related tax forms, please work with a local tax authority or review Tipalti's FAQ page.
Why are there fees taken out of my payments?
PayPal and other payment platforms have transaction fees, which you can review when you're signing up for Tipalti. CopyPress will always cover eCheck fees and up to $5 in other fees. Exchange fees may also apply.
How long does it take for Tipalti to verify my information?
Verification can take less than a day and up to a few business days depending on your location.
