Understanding Vacation Mode

This article will outline how to set your Vacation Mode.

What Is Vacation Mode?

Vacation Mode is a feature on your profile that shows if and when you're available for assignments in Dante. If you are going to be unavailable, set your Vacation Mode to "on" and select the date you will be available again.

What Does Vacation Mode Do?

Vacation Mode shows you're unavailable to complete any assignments during your specified period of time. Even if your Vacation Mode is "on," you may receive assignment offers if the deadline is after your return date. Project managers can also still send task invitations if you're on vacation mode, but we will not count it against you if you allow those invites to expire.

How Do You Turn on Vacation Mode?

You will need to set your Vacation Mode to "on" the day you intend to be unavailable. To access Vacation Mode, navigate to your profile. Click on My Account to access your profile settings.

Scroll down to the Vacation Mode section and click Edit.

Select On, and then pick the date you will be available again.

Once you click save, your profile will show you're unavailable in the system until the date you provided. Once that date arrives, you will be eligible for work again and may start receiving assignment invites.
